Schmelke Cues do not feature an adjustable weight system. A cue can be custom ordered with an adjustable weighting system, at special request.
Q: What kind of ferrule is used on Schmelke Cues?
Schmelke Cues are made with a linen melamine ferrule. Linen melamine is a strong durable material.
Q: What is the standard length of a Schmelke Cue?
The standard length on a Schmelke Cue is 58 inches with a 28 1/2 inch butt and 29 1/2 inch shaft with a 1 inch ferrule.
Q: What tip is on my Schmelke Cue?
Schmelke cues come standard with a Baxter soft tip.
Our H-Series cues come standard with a Halle Soft tip.
Q: What kind of taper does my Schmelke cue have?
Schmelke cue comes with a pro taper of 12 to 14 inches.
Q: Can I get a longer or shorter Schmelke cue?
Most Schmelke cues can be made up to 65" in length. Most unwrapped cues come with a 30" butt and wrapped cues with a 32" butt.
Q: Can I get a different kind of tip on my Schmelke cue?
Yes. We also offer the Elk Master (soft), Lepro (medium),Triangle (hard) Halle (Soft), Arden (Hard), Moori (soft) (medium) (hard), Everest.
Q: Can I get a different taper?
Schmelke offers three additional selections in tapers.These tapers include: the Break taper (Gets approx 1mm bigger 8-10 inches down from tip), theEuropean taper (Cone shaped, gets big right at ferrule,) and the Extended Pro Taper(Taper point is approx 15 inches from the tip).
Q:Can I change the pearl color on a Schmelke Cue?
You can choose any color pearl that is available in our catalog.
Can I change the wrap color for to one other than shown on a Schmelke cue?
Yes, all Schmelke cues are available an Irish linen wrap in any available color.
Q:Can I have my name engraved on my Schmelke cue?
Yes, you may choose from Script, Block, or many other standard fonts. We are able to engrave up to going horizonal to the cue on various sections.
Q: What color of engraving are available?
Available colors are black or gold or silver.
